August Stamp Camp, card 1

My August stamp cards featured the 5 new In-Colors. There is not a bad color in this group! The above card features Calypso Coral and a new hostess set, Faith in Nature. This image is water colored in, one of my favorite ways to make a card. By using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, you have a quick and nicely textured card. This card could be used for almost any occasion. You could earn this stamp set by hosting a Stampin' Up party. If you're interested, just let me know. Stay tuned for another card using the Faith in Nature stamp set.

Stamps: Faith in Nature
Card Stock: Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink: Brown Staz-On, Calypso Coral
Misc: Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Aqua Painter

Sympathy Card

The second card of my Sympathy camp. The photo of this card does not do it justice. After using a 1" round mask for the "moon", a sponge was used to layer on More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Marina Mist to create the background on Very Vanilla card stock. The tree was stamped with Early Espresso. Assemble the card by layering the tree to Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso which was embossed with the Framed Tulips embossing folder and the final card base of Very Vanilla. No sentiment was used on the front of the card.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze
Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Early Espresso, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Marina Mist
Misc: Framed Tulips embossing folder, 1" round punch, Stamping Sponges

Sympathy Card

One of my customers (hi Jan!) asked if I could offer a camp to make Sympathy cards. As we all know, they are needed at times. I think it's best to have some made ahead instead of trying to come up with a special card at an emotional time. So, I came up with 3 easy cards, and this is the first card I designed. Each stamper made 3 each of the 3 designs. This card is really easy to make, very simple stamping, a little embossing and using 2 punches. That's it. Sentiments for the inside came from Thoughts & Prayers.

Stamps: Growing Green, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Suede
Misc: Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, word window punch, modern label punch

July stamp camp, card 5

Isn't the new Flower Garden embossing folder wonderful? After the Whisper White card stock was run through the embossing folder, markers were used to color in the raised image. A very easy and fun way to use this embossing folder. Add in a little bit of eyelet border punch for a bit more texture, and you're done!

Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Stamps: none
Markers: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, So Saffron

July stamp camp, card 4

Sail Away! On a perfect sunny afternoon to sail smoothly through the still waters. Oh, if only I had a boat! Well, I'm lucky that my 2 brothers have boats so I do get to enjoy some wonderful times on Lake Wisconsin. This would make a nice masculine card for a special person in your life. And made in a red, white and blue combination, very Americana!

Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Night of Navy
Stamps: Sail Away, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Night of Navy
Misc: Square Lattice embossing folder, word window punch, modern label punch, scallop edge border punch

July stamp camp, card 3

Strength and Hope. 20% of sales from this stamp set go to Breast Cancer Research. I would find it almost impossible that someone hasn't been affected by this horrible disease, either personally, a relative, good friend, co-worker, etc. I didn't have to think twice about buying this set. Every sale will help the research.

Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Strength & Hope
Ink: Melon Mambo

July stamp camp, card 2

This card features a lot of texture, using 2 different embossing folders. And see the frame around the Decorative Label Punch? You can make a frame by punching 2 extra labels. Cut one in half vertically and attach to each side. Cut the other in half horizontally and attach to the top and bottom. It makes a very nice frame with a pop of color. Using the Aquapainter and a bit of Cajun Craze, this sweet little bird was colored in. I'm thinking this bird is a robin, a fitting bird, don't you think? An easy card with very little stamping, texture is the key in this card.

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Cajun Craze
Stamps: Four Frames
Ink: Black Staz-On, Cajun Craze
Misc: Perfect Polka Dots and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folders, Decorative Label punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, black grosgrain ribbon, Aquapainter
